I think I may have ordered from this place for the same items twice because after purchasing, I get an email saying I still hadn’t checked out. The first time I thought it was my error. Now, I can see the order has gone through on my end, but not theirs. I’m a bit concerned about being ripped off. Has anybody experienced this problem?

I'm going to say that I ordered livestock from them once, and was totally disappointed and don't recommend that, but the transaction itself went well. I'm fairly certain a lot of members here purchase dry goods through them with no problems. I don't believe you'll get 'ripped off', but just stay on top of it, and your payment processor can be your best friend here.

Good luck!

Update. The order didn’t go through, but I think the issue was with Affirm (app to break up payments). Anyway, everything is sorted. Since I get conflicting info about how good this place is, I’ll only use them for supplies, not anything living.

Glad it worked out for you!

First - thank you for the update, closure. Helps others.

Second - do you mind if I ask the order of steps before getting here? In short did you reach out to SWA before posting or was it more of a quick question and posting here first?

I don't mean anything by it other than some vendors have chat options on their portal to ask quick questions such as this. That or an email address, contact us, or similar to reach out.

Lastly Affirm - I've been tripped up by that a few times such that a code is sent, or displayed, and needs to be acknowledged before the payment will go through. Sometimes you don't even get them and both parties don't have any idea of what is going on and the purchaser is left to reach out to the bank, credit union, and then have them reach the back end main bank. So I can understand why maybe posting here first before vendor if that makes sense.

Glad it got sorted though. With regards to the vendor they are a pretty solid alternative to the two ton heavy thing. Friendly, comparative pricing, good stock, and has the tie to cross ship corals and fish. I've purchased both and my experience has always been great. Of course this is just my experience.

Hope your day is well. All the best.

I’ve purchased nearly everything I have from them. Always super fast service and shipping. Easy to get them on the phone if needed. I have zero concerns about their honesty. (Their iOS app, on the other hand, often crashes on me.)

The app definitely needs some work!
