The LFS threw this guy in with my last purchase. I didn't plan on getting a trumpet, but who can turn down a free frag? Problem is, I didn't even get to see it very well in the frag tank and I'm not sure what it looked like.

Does it look like it's doing ok to you all?

Looks good to me, he's puffed up nicely

I had 6 frags lol I’m just starting out . One of them is a trumpet and it looks like that. It gets puffier I. The day and closes down at night .

I’m worried about my hammers :( they have been so stressed. I shouldn’t even have them yet , but I do so I hope I can save them.

Hammers are definitely not a beginner right off the bat coral. They are super susceptible to bacterial infections. Especially in less that great water quality.

Do observe them especially after the lights are out for their feeder tentacles. Not sure if yours will display them since its just a single head. Mine didnt when it was just two heads but fast forward 2 years at more than dozen heads, once the lights are out its a whole different looking coral with all of its feeding tentacles out.
