Hi All,

After reading a lot of good things about the NooPsyche K7 V3, I decided to give it a try on my 30 gal AIO. Just ordered it, so I don't know how long it will take to get here since it's obviously coming from China (either directly or indirectly). I realize it's a "budget" option for lighting, but for me I think the risk is probably worth the reward.

Curious if anyone has any experiences to share (good or bad) with this light. Maybe anything to look out for or keep in mind? It will be replacing a Kessil A160WE Tuna Blue, as I'm looking for something a little more powerful to better support SPS, etc.

Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

the K7 is a good light, spectrum and schedule control is easy. You can import and export your settings. The light has decent power for higher PAR settings. The cooling fan is not loud, it only comes on when needed. @BeanAnimal has a code generator where you can adjust your spectrum and schedule then import to the app . You can find that here Noo-Psyche K7 Profile Generator

you won’t find many complaints. It is an inexpensive light that is powerful and has great spectrum. Lots of people here, myself included, are highly impressed.

The app is meh. Not going to sugar coat it. But once the light is setup you don’t need the app anymore.

And as mentioned early there is a schedule generator online and it creates a qr code and you can import the schedule easily.
