I am starting to try and identify Corals and I was hoping someone could help with these. I know the photo isn’t great, I don’t think the corals are in the best shape either. Are these LPS or Soft? Any better identification and what are you seeing to identify them?

These are leather corals, the first one is a Kenya Tree, but I'm not familiar with the second one. Great beginner corals that grow like weeds once they get happy!

Petco corals? With some good care they can come back and look stunning!
First pic shows a Kenya tree up front and a toadstool in the back. I think I also see a lobophytum leather next to the Kenya in the first.
Second pic also looks like a Kenya.

mine started growing like a weed after a week in my tank! A lot of people hate them but I can trade a ton of tiny ones in for a more valuable coral, And they add movement to any tank.

Yes, I’m stuck in a city waiting for a scheduled surgery so I stopped in for a pail of salt. I’m just starting to think about adding corals. I.e. I had to look up the difference between LPS and SPS last week. Thank you for the info!

Forgot to mention, these are all soft corals. They are extremely hardy, so a good early coral to get. Just the risk of whatever is in petco water being brought over to your tank (dipping helps).
