Does anyone have a friend or family member who has Trypophobia, which is the intense and irrational fear of small holes or clusters of circles, like the ones that can be seen in coral skeletons or live rock? Upon seeing these shapes or clusters of small circles some people will feel their skin crawl or experience panic attacks. If so were they not able to look at your reef tank ?

My youngest (12 years old) claims to have it........I never realized it was a real thing.....I thought she was just making stuff up lol.

I hate the look of seed pods, or cut up ocra. I’m not terrified of it, but won’t touch it. Also, those frogs with babies living in holes in the mother frogs back, screw em!

Anyone have any ideas on how to lessen the visual impact of the live rock ? Manufactured reef rock such as the Project

Reef Rock 2.1 appears to have a less honeycomb look to it and less clusters of circles than natural rock which in theory should reduce the visual impact on someone with trypophobia.
