What does this mean and how do I fix it? Power cycle doesn't reset it. The only way I can make it stop is if I unplug the pump from the gator clips. Kind of looks like it keeps rebooting or something when it tries to turn on the pump.

One of 4 possibilities and you need to check them in this order, there is a power overload causing it to shut down and try to restart-

1) The power supply connected is the wrong one, it should be labeled Tunze 5012.010, 12V 1600mA. If this is wrong, the results of every other check after this mean nothing.

2) The pump connectors are wet or shorted by salt creep.

3) The pump speed was previously turned to an extreme, all the way to max or nano, back it off slightly.

4) The pump is faulty.

Verified correct Tunze power supply and pump connectors clean and dry. I have been using the default pump speed so that should be ok too. The pump is not very old, but I will get a new one and try it.

They do have a 2 year warranty, in general the pumps should last 2-3 years in RO water, about half that with kalkwasser.

Mine is currently 8 months old and I only used it in RO. I already ordered another pump to verify if that was the problem. If that fixes it I suppose I should reach out to the warranty team to maybe replace the original for a spare.
