Well, after hunting down info on tunze's website, I found that flow is controlled by a lever on the side of the pump.

Unless that is something new they have added........

the one I have now has no lever.

I found it on their website. Do you own the 6045? If so, does it have a plug or does it have to be a controller.

Yes I do and it has no way to alter speed. It has a plug.
As Paul said to be able to get a Tunze on a controller you have to start at the 6055's.

The one with the lever is the newer model the one without is the older model. The one on socaltropicals for $50 is the older model, still a really good deal though. I've bought stuff from them and recommend them. And like was said above, it's not controllable just plug and play like your koralias.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
