Added my new Tunze 9001 to my 6month old 110l tank yesterday (2x clowns and an elegance coral). Plugged it in and after some tuning, it began to skim (white foam, murky water). Today the foam has dropped down and it no longer flowing over the in to collection cup; any ideas why this may have happened? I've pushed the skimmer deeper in to the water so it now sits where Tunze recommend but this hasn't altered it.

Thanks in advance,

It could be just breaking in, I would keep playing with it and see how that goes. Those are decent skimmers.

Yes, they’re difficult to get tuned just right at the beginning. It took me about 4-6 months to get it fully broken in to where I didn’t have to adjust it daily. Now, it does a great job skimming.
