I am getting a bunch of larger bubbles from the back under my top magnet of my Tunze 9004 skimmer. Does anyone know what could be causing this? There are a few micro bubbles from the side but they are not really a bother but the ones coming from the back are excessive.

Horrible design. I had to use silicone to slow down micro bubbles. The clips that hold the body together failed from repeated disassembly for cleaning. I kept the DC pump and tossed the rest into the trash.

OP, did you ever figure this out?

I'm having a similar issue. The microbubbles out the side have died down over time, but bubbles are still pouring out the back where the magnet it.

My current theory is a clip for the magnet holder got mangled and that somehow opened up a hole in the rear of the housing. I'm thinking of opening it and trying to seal it.
