Post pics of the skimmate
its always wet until it breaks in. about 2 or three weeks. once it breaks in and is giving foam gently raise to IMO just above the waterline mark. then dial the air down to a dryer skim. small adjustments over days. One you hit the sweet spot youll be able to do it again and again....just a learning curve.
if it looks like green tea its too wet if it looks like coffee its good darker is a trick to get but can be done. it never gets real thick, just dark.
