I just setup my New Tunze ATO and I had issues with the pump continuing until it hit the shut off. I figured out that it was the micro bubbles from my skimmer that was causing the sensor to not shut the pump off..

I understand it will take 3-5 days for the bacterial film to build on the sensor... Does anyone think that will do the trick in terms of the very small amount of micro bubbles my skimmer causes?

I only ask because I have a nano tank, and obviously, there's no room to move the skimmer elsewhere.

Hi Joe, I will call soon, this might have more to do with timed fills.

Thanks Roger for the call... In case anyone else was interested, I'm going to wait 3-5 days to get the bacterial film to cover the sensor. If that doesn't work then I will put a sponge in between the two chambers and that will hopefully do the trick if waiting doesn't. Thanks Roger, i love the product

Thank you, but don't hesitate to contact me if it isn't working 100%.

Thank you, but don't hesitate to contact me if it isn't working 100%.

Update: I have turned on the skimmer + put a little foam pad in between the chamber. Zero issues! I'm very happy with the Tunze ATO!
