Hey @rvitko ,

I am currently running two Tunze Stream 3's in my tank. I am alternating them every 3 hours by turning them on and off via the APEX power sockets. Will turning them on-off several times a day affect their longevity? Also, does turning them on/off every 3 hours affect their 24 hour back flow flush?

The backflush is 24 hours after they powered on, so this would disrupt this. Overall I would feel this is not the best use of these pumps, you could use the low voltage control of the Apex and keep all the safeties and backflushing and control the speeds and this seems a better use than the off and on. I don't see wear overall as a big issue, but you do defeat the backflushing.
