Looking to use a Tunze Wavebox in my fragtank. Tank is 6' x 2' x 1'. I know the wavebox is about 12". With the eurobracing around the bottom of my tank and the fact that the water is lower than the 12" mark...there's only about 9.5" of water. Will the wavebox work in 9.5" of water or not? I have a vortech in there right now, but it isn't producing anywhere near the wave that I would want there to be.

thanks in advance.

you may have to dial down the intensity b/c it may pull in air as you won't be able to fill the box completely.

I'm selling off all my vortech's as soon as I can afford to fix them all...and then buying tunze's. Plus the flow vortech's produce will not work in the tank the way that it's setup.

Does anybody know if any of the controllable pumps could be used with the timer to create a wave? I was thinking about creating an acrylic box that was wider so that the box itself would hold more water and not suck air.
If I was going to do this, I would just need a controllable pump and controller right?
