Turbo Snail Issue

I have a snail that has something weird on its shell. It looks like someone put some white plaster on him. Does anyone know what that might be? Is he sick? He eats like a horse and doesn't show signs of illness. None of my other turbos have anything like that on them.

My guess is that it is just dead coralline algae. Do you have a picture?

I haven't been able to get a picture of it yet. When he comes out, i'll get a pic and post it.
