Tuze 9004 Skimmer?

I was wondering can you attach a c02 scrubber to this? I seen this https://fishofhex.com/products/tunze-comline-doc-skimmer-9004-co2-attachment

However, I was thinking using a T line where the air hose goes into the skimmer and connect it to co2 scrubber. Thoughts?

Either would work; the component being sold is for recirculating whereas your modification would just treat the air at the source (and probably be less hassle with emptying the skimmer)

did you end up setting this up? i just got the 9004 and have that attachment from that link on the way. not sure what you mean by set up a t line instead of using the attachment can u send a pic?

I havent done this yet. I may just attach it to attachment havent looked at it yet
