I have tetra and tisbe going and everything is fine. I ended up getting a culture for nanno from a friend and am debating:

1) Switch from tetra to nanno. So far it seems there's no real proven benefit for this?
2) Just dose the nanno and keep cultivating the tetra.
3) Buy another phytotank and dose tetra and nanno
4) Buy another tank and dose tetra/nanno + something else

What are your thoughts? I don't mind doing the extra work for phyto, but I can't figure out if it is truly necessary so I'm struggling to justify another phytotank.

If you mix the cultures then one will typically outcompete the other. Good luck with whatever you choose!
