I have two tangs that have out grown my 220. My tank is 60x36x24 so they need to go to something larger for sure. Both of them are 100% healthy and eat like pigs. They eat a lot and eat anything from flake to frozen, pellet to nori. We love them but they are just to big now and need a larger system.

To be honest I’m not real sure what they are worth. Let me know if this is out of line...

6+ inch Hippo tang -$100
7+ inch FAT Vlamingi tang- $80
Or both for $150

Local pickup is preferred due to size. Shipping could be a challenge.

Thanks!

Wow. That seems really cheap for someone that could house fish that size! If I could I would snap them up in short order!

That's definitely low... someone will definitely buy it.... I sold my 6" hippo tang once for $75 and a 5"purple tang for $120 cause I needed them out quick... had dozens of emails and were sold and picked up the very next day... you'll have no problem... good luck.

I only have a few LFS that are about an hour away. I could call around and ask. I know one of those two could definitely do it, just not sure what they would charge. Send me a PM if you think you may be interested to absorb those prices. I understand if not. Thanks.

its so much better to get a fish from a private tank than a fish shop. I never quarantine fish I buy from other's private tanks and that saves so much hassle. Most fresh fish from importers are loaded with gill flukes. By the way, I'm looking for a replacement Blue tang that size and on Liveaquaria.com they are now around $300

Ahh live aquaria. . . where a guppy is $ 50,000. Their prices are absurd and Id rather wait a year than to pay those escalated prices.

I would like to thank @Feet4Fish for driving 2hrs and purchasing these fish. He showed up with a adequate sized bin, a bubbler, and some chemicals(prime/etc), to make the trip home.

He also picked up my 5” orange shoulder in addition to the first two.

The wife and I were sad to see them go, but they outgrew our tank, and will now happily live in their 650gal display!

Thanks again for wanting my fish!
