Well I had to move so tank was broken down and I have a frag that is regrowing out. I probably will revisit my growth threads when I get things going in my display again.

I picked up my Frag, last weekend. I trying to figure out were I am going to stick it. I am bring my current system back to life, also keeping my fingers crossed that the frag will survive. I have been wanting to grow one these out for awhile now.

I have a little nub of this. Had a normal size frag but a tang squabble resulted in being left with a piece smaller than a pencil eraser. In 6 months I don’t think it’s even put on a millimeter of growth. All of my other corals seem to be doing well. Hopefully it eventually decides to do something.

Frag turning into mini colony

Mine took about 7 year of owning it and moving it 3 different tanks to finally start actually growing. now its a whopping 4" lol

Too be fair it is a survivor and should have died in my holding tanks and being covered by algae many times. It always held its color and when things are not going good thats the one thing i try to hold my hopes on. When corals are dormant and not holding their color, its probably at 80% chance that coral wont survive 3 months.
