lineage seems to come down to knowing your corals and knowing the source you are getting them from, a lot of people get taken for a ride because they don't know any better, if somebody trys to sell me a BGM or Miami Hurricane you can bet for sure that you can't pull the wool over my eyes, I know what they look like and in most cases the lineage...a lot of reefers in general don't know any better and they think they are buying a Miami Hurricane when in reality it's a knock off

Allright. I think everyone is forgetting an important fact here. I just scored a frag of this totally awsome looking chalice!! Woohoo!

Pookstreet, I wish you had seen this earlier also but I'm very happy to be able to add your beautiful chalice to my collection. Thank you.

well said, there is a fine line I think at the least coral123 should put his name in front to separate his from nino's as two diffrent colony's.

Here are the facts about this chalice one more time. Nino is the namer only and not the original person who found this coral as a wild. Obviously, he is trying to monopolize this chalice with his foggy memory of where he got it and who he got it from, which I think everyone can see. They are not from two different colonies. His lineage, my lineage, Mikes, BigIan, Paul and everyone who has this all go back to the same person period. They were all cut from the same exact colony, not a look alike or something similar, the exact same parent colony. All of these frags were connected physically as one. The "lineage" of this coral is all the same back to the person who bought it as a wild colony. I could make a big family tree of everyone I know that has this piece, but I don't think that is necessary.

Erin, sorry that your thread got way off topic here, but glad to see you found the one you were looking for.
