WOW! Anderson Silva was getting his **** whooped and dominated for over 4 rounds and pulls out the victory with a triangle choke. Matt Hughes and John Fitch also looked good in their wins.

Watched it on an online stream. I wanted to get the PPV but I was afraid Sonnen was just going to lay on him the whole night and didn't want to pay for that. I was pretty much right. Funny thing is that my stream cuts out during the Fitch/Alves fight and the whole main event until the 4th round. I was feeling disappointed but glad I didn't pay for it and then Anderson slips the triangle and I was like oh crap! The other fights were pretty good.

I was so angry silva ended up winning. It ruined my night. Sonnen looked great and I disagree he laid on him the whole time. He was active the entire time. The GNP was brutal in the first. On the judges scorecard there were multiple 10-8 rounds.
Hughes looked good. Nelson is a tough dude and Fitch still proves he is awesome. The question is can Fitch ever beat GSP?
It was a great card, it just ended with an OH CRUD moment.

+1 I was actually surprised he was so active on his feet. Silva literally didn't know what to do when he was getting hit. Sonnen did just as much damage with the GNP. For the first time we can see that Silva really has no defense. When he locked the triangle in I was screaming "NOOOOO!"
Honestly one of the best cards of the year, if not in a long time. I had all my cards on Silva just coming out brutal, watching him get controlled (I'd hesitate to call it dominated as he was landing some viscious elbows and was going for subs the entire time) for 23 minutes had me on edge (I was rooting Silva, others were rooting Sonnen.) Seeing him pull out a sub ala a Nog or Fedor was slick and sweet. All the same, Sonnen did more than anyone honestly expected him to, and it was danged impressive.
Other fights were also great, though Struve knocking out a gassed Warcraft wasn't as impressive as it seemed just because of his lip.

punchers ALWAYS have a chance so it will be very interesting. Randy SHOULD annihilate him but you never know if that uppercut connects on the jaw while randy is going for a double-leg
I cannot really comment on the LnP since I didn't watch most of the fight since my stream was going in and out. From the times the stream was working Sonnen was on top of Silva. I knew that Sonnen was going to use his wrestling to win and it's what he did but came up short. I liked Sonnen before this fight but all his trash talking and BS made me hate his guts (eventhough some of it was quite funny and I know he is just hyping up the fight). Now he is okay again in my book because he took the loss like a man and gave credit where credit is due, eventhough he still tried to deny that he tapped. Atleast he talked the talk and walked the walk. He said he was going to give Silva the fight of his life and he delivered. He backed up his trash talking and just made a mistake (the same mistake he seems commit most of the time).
