Ultum Nature System's distribution partner is European Aquaristics in Germany. Their list of retailers is available here: https://europeanaquaristics.com/en/our-distributors/

If your favorite local retailer would like to offer UNS in thier store, they should reach out to EA for a wholesale account.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but when will UNS come to Australia? Would love to upgrade to the R150.

no worries. I ended up going with waterbox reef lx 290.6. I couldn't waot for them to upgrade to larger systems. Ultimately I didn't like the ATO system sitting on top of the sump. Sounded like a pain to me to deal with.

We're happy to report that the first shipment of UNS R systems is already in Australia and available to your favorite retailer through our distribution partner, Oz Aquarium Distributors.

R180 includes an ATO that sits on top of the sump, yes. But you have the option not to use it and add your own ATO reservior in the availabe space adjacent to the sump, or inside of the equipment box.

Yeah very nice. I talked with Aquarium Design Group in houston a lot about yalls tanks. Great builds just decided I wanted to go with an even larger system.

We recently got the UNS R90 from ADG. It's obviously smaller than the 150 they have in display but the layout, build, and the electrical cabinet idea are in essence the same. I came across your question here by trying to find out other users or threads with the same, or at least similar, tank and as you very well point out: there aren't any.
The reef line seems to be relatively new to UNS and I think that's the reason why there aren't many reviews or information from other users. I think I'll start documenting my tank build as a way to share the experience and maybe contact other possible users.

For now I'll share some ideas based on our experience, positive and negatives:
- Very neat looking, no equipment hanging from the tank and when the cover panels are on it's all neatly covered and contained
- Love the panels: detaching them and attaching them is super easy with the magnets and you have full access to the sump when needed, without bars in the middle or doors restricting your move
- Although we like the electrical cabinet space idea, the actual execution of placing controllers and all equipment in there did not work for us. This is mainly because of the size and amount of equipment we have (Neptune Systems) so we ended up placing controllers and power bars in a separate cabinet and left only dosing systems in the UNS cabinet. The R150 has a bigger cabinet size but I think it still would have been a little challenging for us to cram everything in there.
- The ATO container is well built but pretty heavy, big, and it sits on top of the refugium/biomedia chamber cover. Accesing the refugium or biomedia chamber requires moving the ATO container aside and at this point we are limited to submersible refugium lights if we want to set up a refugium. Right now we're using media in that chamber. I believe the setup is pretty much the same in the 150.

There's more to say but I think it'll be easier to upload more detailed pictures to my tank thread and answer specific questions. Overall we like it, I'm a little worried about how "new" the line is and how little information is available yet but hopefully as time goes by there will be more feedback. Let me know if you have specific questions I can try to answer.
I’m looking to get a UNS AIO tank and I have the same light as you— an AI prime on the hard mounting arm. Do you know if the matching ATO that fits over the sump area works with a tank mount on the back of the tank? It could work if the ATO can scooch forward 3-4cm as I can reverse the mount to have the flat part forward and the bulky part in the back, but there is nowhere in my area for me to check out this setup in person in order to know for sure. Also love your lid, did you have it made custom? Thanks for any insight

I went to Houston Aquarium design group retail store today. Looking for some help on either getting a custom built tank or 150-200G tanks what they recommend.

They had a Ultum Nature System R-150 set up and it looked great love the stand and tank itself.

I’m looking for people with experience with this set up. I can’t find any threads with this build.

I bought an R60 recently. The refugium lid had a slight imperfection in it. One filter sock had some minor damage. I wrote them and explained that I wasn't asking for a replacement because this was very minor. I just wanted to let them know for quality control purposes.

They wrote back within 24 hours, thanked me, and asked for my address. They sent out a new lid, a new filter sock, AND A REFUGIUM LIGHT.

I have emailed them several times with technical questions. Every single time, they respond within 24 hours. Their response is detailed and helpful. If I have additional questions, they respond quickly and in detail.

I buy exclusively UNS products because of their commitment to quality and customer service. They go above and beyond.

I’m looking to buy this tank - how big is the ATO capacity? How long does it last you between fills?
