Hello. I have a 120 mixed reef 1yr old. I use Brightwell Neo marine salt and do a 10 gallon water change weekly. My parameters are SG 1.026 Alk 8 Calcium 450 Nitrate 15 Magnesium 1500 and Phosphate is .46. I just started up a BP reactor to help lower Nitrates and Phosphates. I have to dose 10mil of Alk a day to keep my Alk at 8. Shouldn't ALK and Calcium be dosed in equal parts? Thanks for any help.

They do not have to be dosed in equal parts. If 1 part is used faster than another then dose that in a larger amount or more often

I dose only to keep Alk and CA stable in the range.
With Differences in mix concentration and minute doser variations, you’d be lucky to get them both exactly the same.

Use you test kits to keep them on point.
