So, I picked up a nice frag of Hollywood Stunner chalice on a piece of aragonite and placed it in a temporary spot in my tank. While trying to anchor other frag plugs to the live rock, I accidentally shifted the adjacent rock. I guess the shift put too much stress on the chalice (I didn't realize they were tortilla chip-thin), and he shattered into four pieces. The largest piece is still attached to the original plug. I split the other three pieces roughly in half by area and attached them to plugs with superglue.

I've never really intentionally fragged any corals. I had the fragging supplies because I needed to anchor a couple of pieces of plating Montipora that I came across. Any tips or suggestions to help the child frags adapt?

I have accidentally fragged many a coral and generally it has worked out well as I now have multiple colonies to show for it. I 'd get them attached somewhere appropriate and a year from now you'll have 4 colonies:)

Well, it'll be three because the fourth piece was really small, so I glued in on a plug with one of the other, larger pieces :)
