Unique thing in my tank

I found these little red things in my tank and I can’t figure out what they are. Can anybody give me insight on what they are.

Where did your live rock come from? Your closeup looks like a red macro algae.

Is it flat or spherical?
Is it slippery?
Is it soft, spongy or calcified?
