I just built a saltwater mixing station. For the most part working well. Every now and then I will get a drip out of my barrels thru the uniseal. It is very minor and only a couple of drips here and there.

I used the BRS guide to hole size when drilling. I deburred the edges.

Is there a way to ensure that it doesn't drip? I am using plastic 55gal drums. Would a bulkhead work for these? It is slightly curved so i went Uniseal.

With this type of application, typically I use uniseals above the water line and bulkheads below the water line. Good luck!

Have a bulkhead on a brute that’s curved. Usually the bulkhead flattens the area. Give it a shot.

+1. That is my experience as well. It depends on how thick the plastic is but often it will flex. Letting the barrel sit outside on a sunny day (or applying low levels of heat) will also help make the barrel a bit more pliable when you are installing the bulkhead.

Assure good gasket seal and yes bulkhead would be a good option.
