Hi All,

I am trying to put an apex and some AI Hydras on the University wifi but I am unable to log into the wifi from the equipment. Does anybody know how I could get the devices onto the university wifi and communicating with my phone?

Cheers

Unfortunately the Apex does not support any authentication methods when connecting to WiFi. If your university’s IT department doesn’t permit exceptions, the only other option I can think of is to purchase a WiFi adapter which does support authentication, then plug it into the Apex Ethernet port.

I doubt you will be able to do that. If their IT dept is any good even if you get the AI's (and even the apex if it actually could connect) connected they will be kicked back off pretty quickly as most educational IT depts scan for unusual devices. Do you guys not have ethernet? If so, get a wifi router and make your own internal network for your apex. If not you will need a wireless bridge which will connect to their wifi and basically give you an ethernet port. Then get your own wireless router for the apex and AIs.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
