unknown crab

so I saw something strange today , i found a lil punk crab in my tank.
It looks like its eating a tiny white anemone . I was able to pull the crab out without too much effort but i dont know what it is. Anyways what do you think I should do with the crab?

Looks like a pom pom crab , those lil white anemones looking are it's hands

That is a Pom Pom crab, people pay a decent amount of money for them.

They do take nems and carry them around, just so you're warned.

Yep, Pom Pom Crab. Reef safe and harmless, they use the anemone's that they hold to get food from the water column from what I've read on them.

The nems eventually die from the stress, from what I've read. Not sure how accurate that is.

Well that day i posted this, I put the crab back in my tank, lol never to be seen again , lol i hope its still doing ok

last i saw it the nems are much bigger on the crab , seems to be doing ok i guess

woo I saw this lil guy crawling around today but i didnt grab my camera in time, lol next time ill grab a pic for sure

finally saw this dude again. has to be at least 8 months in my tank now.:thumb:
