I seem to have a few of these in my tank and when I get near them they close up very quickly. What are they and any idea how I get rid of? Thank you.

Congratulations - you've got aiptasias! They are very common, very invasive -- can overtake your tank if not get rid of them. There are various methods -- I've tried filefish and peppermint shrimps but no luck. I usually zap the visible ones with kalkwasser paste but can't reach hard-to-reach crevices. I got 4 berghia nudibranches recently -- aiptasias are their only diet! I'm slowly seeing their numbers declining...

...and when your aiptasias are gone, your nudibranches are also gone (no more food) :(
