Hey I need help identifying this what appears to be a clam It’s the first time I’ve seen it got this coral around half a year ago and the clam just randomly showed up it’s got some hairs sticking out I just need to know if I should keep it or should I give it the rip and dip treatment,

Looks more like a clam than a barnacle here’s the best close up I can get in the water I’m more concerned if the clam is reef safe or invasive so I can get ride of it

There aren’t any non reef safe nor invasive clams.

There are parasitic clams like the boring clam but this one doesn’t look like one.

You can kill it if you are worried
