Not sure if this is the correct place to post this:

I am having a hard time finding filter socks that fit the UNS R90 in Canada. I purchased a few different kinds and they all sort of fit, but nothing seats properly into the holes like the socks that came with it.

I would like to have a couple extra sets (3 sock holes in my sump) that I can rotate through as I usually do my washing once a week.

I have found suppliers in the States that will ship the UNS ones, but it works out to $30 for four socks plus $50 USD for shipping, plus whatever import duties I would have to pay, which sort of makes it nonsensical to purchase like that, and the shipping close to doubles when I add an extra set to it. They are only $20 USD for a four pack (and the current almost fitting Amazon ones I have, I think I paid around $30 for six - they are great, aside from not seating properly)

So, I have two questions; does anyone know what other brands exactly fit the UNS sock holes, or can someone direct me to a supplier in Canada that sells the UNS ones?

Thank you!!

Did you ever find an answer? I'm also in Canada and I have exactly the same problem but with a different sump. Mine is a Pro-clear Redflex 300, but I wonder if its actually made by the same manufacturer as yours, it sounds like exactly the same problem. No socks other than their own brand seem to fit perfectly, there is always a gap around the sock and the hole which means water drips through and makes a lot of noise.

If you send me one complete sock that fits perfectly, I can make it! NOT clean is expected. It is more of a polishing sock at 200 microns. email me @ [email protected] for info
