Unusual but possibly normal emerald crab behavior

I used to never see my emerald cramp during the day other than attached to my life rock. But now it’s wandering around on the same bed is there a reason for this?

He might be foraging. I noticed more wandering after the gha was gone.

That’s probably the case. 99% of the algae is gone or at least I can’t see any
