Set up the 180gal in January 2017 after not having a tank for a while since moving. Tank started with 75gal under stand sump. Day before Thanksgiving I connected a 125gal basement sump with 40gal breeder frag tank (no frags yet). Both bulkheads plumbed into 1-1/2" pipe on each side with 1-1/2 into 2 1" returns over the back of tank. In tank flow from 4 mp40's. Lit by 2 reefbreeders 32 v1. Mag 12 for return, soon to be upgraded to a mag18. Old asm skimmer (still works great). Brs ato with brute can for reservoir. Brs dosers. Controlled by a reefkeeper elite. Fuge lit by lowes hanging light with led bulb. Frag tank and carbon reactor run off mag7. Frag tank has mp10 for circulation and lit by coralife led for now. Plans are to replace lights (one not functioning right, why tank looks different on the right side.) with 2 32 reefbreeders aquasarise lights and move to good v1 to my frag tank. Plans are mixed reef with mostly lps and zoas with some sps.

Sweet setup.....I like how you have everything plumbed and setup in a separate room. How long have you been up and running now and where are you located? I am in Woodbury.....just starting up a 220 gallon.....its dry right now, waiting for parts to arrive, should have it going in a couple weeks hopefully.

Thanks. Tank up and running for almost a year. Located in Killingly. Now that I feel the tank is a year in and the few corals I have are doing great I'm looking forward to FFM in March. One of the few things in life that I didn't want to rush.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
