Hello All,
Im starting this thread to keep track of my first frag tank attempt. So far, all i have is the stand and half the lighting lol. Im having a custom acrylic tank being made for it, which will measure 11in×48in×22in and will have an approx fill volume of 45gallons. I requested its overflow be drilled in the center, with 2 returns on each end. The filter will be a 10gallon tank with no baffles, with an old reef octo 110 and as much LR as i can stuff into it, along with a mag7. Additional flow will be koralias. Ill be getting a second black box led fixture to go along with these other blackbox leds i have. Also, the stand i got is SWEET. i found it at a moving sale for $15 with power outlets! But looking at all this info, do is look good?

Yep. I bought a used bowfront from a LFS for my girlfriend to turn into a FW planted tank, and it came with the hang on fuge. My LFS told me the previous owner was running a mixed reef using it as basically a HOB sump. Im going to add an acrylic lip to the outside and put LED strips and stuff it full of chaeto and LR.

Finally, i have the tank!!!!

Custom Rimless 1/2in acrylic soon ti be drilled. I got my hands on a used m1 for $250, a nice 25gallon SP Aquatics sump to go along with it. Ill be running a 6 bulb 48in T5 fixture with supplemental leds. I hope to eventually get it hooked to my current apex so i can monitor it. I have very big plans forbthe future

This will probably be my last update on this thread and i appreciate the people who followed it! I just got an Icecap gyre, and a new dual reactor. The last picture posted is a HOB fuge i repurposed into what will be a chaeto fuge. I plan on keeping prestine water, so the sump will have ample liverock along with an oversized skimmer, and the entire fuge will be filled with chaeto. I also put a few lil pieces in therr ffom my display to bring it back up to par since after the move.
Thanks everyone and i hope to see you on future posts.

Matt
