i bought my RBTA back in April. This was my first BTA so I didn’t really know what it should look like as far as color and health. It seemed to do well for the first two weeks then turned for the worse after I feed it a piece of Silverside. It literally shrank down to the size of a number 2 pencil eraser but never detached. I was ready to dispose of it as soon as it detached but luckily it never did. I will post pictures from where it started and where it is today.
I also have a picture of my Magnificent with my two Clowns that just started hosting in it today. It is so neat to watch the Clowns in this beautiful animal. Hope I can keep both Anemone alive and well.

Glad to see it recovered. Silversides are too hard to digest..if u decide to feed it i would use smaller food like mysis.

Agreed, feed mysis to anemones, even the magnifica. Though if you don't want the magnifica to increase in size too quickly, you probably don't need to feed it directly and just let it get its energy from ample light and occasional food that floats by.

Silversides have been the death of many nems, way too many.

Mysis would be a much better option

looking nice! if you want a more meaty food, you can also feed krill. i find that easier than mysis.
