Hi guys,
Now there's 4 week that i'have upagrade my 300L ( https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/freds-300l-reef.254534/#post-3006665 ) to a new 470L. The dimensions are 130x65x55. The materials are :
- Lightning Blau T5 8x54W (it'll be replace in a few days by a Giesemann Dimtec Matrix II)
- Skimmer Vertex Omega 180i
- 2 Tunze 6105
- Multicontroller Tunze 7095
- 600W heating with a thermostat aquamedic
- Balling
- Somes products (Af vitality, Np Pro)
I've a problem of brow "filamentous" algae, like a start of new aquarium. But, i'm waiting that's a lot of change for the tank. More, i didn't use the rocks of the 300L becaus i was invaded by dictyota. So, i placed dead rock during 2 months in another tank with bacteria, heat, and wave before the upgrade of tank. My mistake is probably to not light this rock, but tha filmantous begin to regress. I put 3 kg of live rocks of a good quality yesterday, to introduce coraline and probably good alguae.
