Just bought a 125 gal aquarium, my question is that I have to put my fish in a 32 gal Brute trash can temporarily they were in a 75gal aquarium.
I lined the bottom of the can with live rock from the tank, put in a air stone and a small pump for water movement. Light over the can .
I'm hoping the fish will be ok in there for a couple of weeks? I have to build the stand and get everything hooked up.
I have a porcupine puffer, spinybox puffer, snowflake eel, lionfish.

They should be fine, just monitor ammonia constantly.

Ok thanks

My fish are refusing to eat now and are just swimming in circles. They haven't eaten in 2 days. I don't think they are happy.

They should start eating soon. You just moved them in a brand new environment that’s way smaller than before. They are going to be stressed for a while.

Thats a lot of agressive, messy fish for a small space, what are your parameters? not only the small confined space probably stressing them out but paramets can change easily.

I would think your would need to do water changes every 3 days. I have a porcupines and he is messy coming and going.

There was no way to get the stand and tank ready while the other tank was still up?

The other tank is down.
So they have to stay in here until the 125 is ready.

2 of my puffers and my snowflake eel have not eaten yet. Is there anything I can do to get them to eat?
Not really. The environment is just to stressful right now.

I would just get the 125 gal up as soon as you can.
