Upset wish I had $

Hubby and I went to a local pet store today. I seen that the owners are selling the store, walking back to the saltwater section there were so many dying and dead fish. Tangs, butterfly clowns so many fish lost it upsets me. I wish I had the money to buy the store. I don't see why the owners would just neglect all the animals it's so sad.:spit:

That is sad. I went to a local lfs and there were dead and dying fish and Fish with their fins gone. Sad to see. And this place wasnt selling out! Safe to say I didnt buy anything from there =/

These type of lfs owners are criminals in my opinion and should punished as so.

First, I don't condone that kind of treatment to fish. There is no provision in the AWA for the treatment of cold blooded animals, except some exotic species. None for fish. Where would it stop? Would you have every fish store owner punished for a fish dying. How about a hobbyist who kills a fish through neglect or just lack of knowledge - would you have them arrested too? How about you? You've never killed a fish on accident? What I'm saying is where would it stop?

I've been in LFS's that their fish look like they've been rolled in powdered sugar and fish still laying on the bottom of the tank being eaten by something. I don't buy from them of course. This is how the hobby is managed. The consumers will weed out the bad apples.
