My baseball sized urchin keeps nabbing my clams off of their rocks, what should I do? I was thinking I just put them on tiny rubble and then glue the rubble to their same spot but I feel like that still wouldn't solve the problem. I love my urchin though, maybe I should put more things for him to wear so he doesn't pick up the clams?

I would like to also clarify that he can only grab the clams that are of smaller size, roughly 3 inches or less. The big ones he just walks right over and cleans their shells.

Still a beast. Haven’t your clams attached to rocks?
They have but the urchin is like 8x bigger than the smaller clams that he picks up, I have seen him at the bottom of the tank for one minute, walk back to the tank and he plowed through all the clams and has one as a hat and the others have fallen off, truly a beast. I genuinely think he is just stronger.

Pics please. Sounds like a hoot. Think your only option: urchin must go.
Yeah I'll take some pictures when I get back home. Do you think increasing the stuff the urchin can wear will dissuade him from going to war with my clams? He only has like one chunk of a rock on him, so I am starting to wonder if he is feeling underdressed
