Urchin Problems

When your urchin loves to carry around your most prized possessions what do you do?

Not much you can do. Whenever you see it happen remove whatever it’s carrying and put back in its place.

It is what they do. This is a recent shot of my tuxedo urchin. He grabbed a loose zoa and has been wearing it around on his head like a flower pot. He also carries a shell with him everywhere he goes.

Same here, but with a clove polyp. Since they're not "loose" it must have clipped it.

Mine picked up this chunk of gsp I tried to attach to the back wall and has been wearing it as a little hat for over a month now. It's really taking off!

My guy has become a little environment of his own. I sometimes have to remove snails and hermit crabs stuck to him

My tuxedo dropped all the coral it was carrying had a mushroom and a small zoa frag for about 2 months now it just has substrate I do have a nassarius snail with Xenia on its shell

There is an urchin under there, hauling a hunk of GSP, a couple of clove polyps, 4 snail shells and few pieces of coral rubble.
