He now has him, and the snail is as good as done.
I tried giving Archie a piece of krill to let the snail go, and he just shifted, ate the krill, never released the snail, and is eating the last turbo now.
Archie will NOT get any more snails to eat.
The turbos were going on 2 years old and went from the size of a dime to bigger than a golf ball, until the urchin found em.
Ah! That’s quite annoying. I’m sorry about your turbo. I just lost one of my huge turbos to a very large scarlet reef hermit crab yesterday. Sad day!

I adore urchins. Not only are they super cute (look at the picture!) My clam shell was covered in diatoms, but now it’s completely clean thanks to my urchin!

i purchased a little royal tuxedo urchin for my refugium area as i am dealing with some unwanted algae growth over my chaeto. went right to work on the GHA!

Love them! Wouldnt have a tank without them. I currently have a pincushion and a tuxedo. Amazing at cleaning and fun to watch
