Wetside makes a slight noise when used over 70% in Gyre and Short Pulse modes. I don't hear anything in Lagoon.
I have a herbie setup and that faint noise irritates me, I purchased like this as seller did not tell me about the noise till it arrived. As you position the wetside, the noise gets quieter. If you have a regular overflow, you will not notice the wetside, the noise is that low.
