Used mp40 controller

I have a used mp40 that the previous owner used on mobius I’m guessing and now I’m trying to use it manually and it won’t respond to any knobs or buttons I can change the mode it will flash the blue W takes my changes in the mode but then after not long it resets to back what it was used from the previous owner ? How can I just change it to control it manually? Thanks in advance !

You should be able to factory reset it? Instructions should be in the PDF manual you can find online.
