Just got the barrel and it smells like mangoes.

I just wanna know if anyone has done the same thing and does the smell matter?
I just rinsed it with water a couple of times but the smell is still there.

There are a range of opinions on this topic. IME I have been far more wary of used totes that previous kept cleaning agents or other chemicals. I would go the extra step and bleach the container, but IMO I think you will be fine. Additionally, leaving it outside in the sun for a few weeks has also proven to be helpful to reducing some smells.
