Using a Powerbar 6e with only a Doser 2.1?

I'm in the process of moving from Neptune to GHL and am wondering if the new powerbar can be used with just a Doser 2.1 Stand Alone. If so, are there any controllable features I'd be missing out on since I don't have the Profilux yet? I figured since the Doser SA has a temp probe, I can shift some core items (like chiller and heater) over to the 6e.
