Using Apex for Ato

I purchased the FMM and have two of the optical sensors. I also purchased the neptune ato pump. I have the new apex system.. I'm wanting to set up my ato using this pump and the optical sensor.
Is there a thread that explains the best way to do this or could someone help me out ? I'm currently using the tunze Nana ato and my float sticks about once a week seems like.

You may want 2 more sensors for redundancy..
