Using fossils

I have around 20lbs + of fossilised shark teeth that I've dug up in a river over the years.
Thinking about replacing my sand with teeth,any down side ?
Not sure if they will affect the chemistry or not.

Go for it, I think a mix of sand and teeth would look best though. I don't think it will effect your chemistry because of how slow they break down.
