Currently I run 2 part but am thinking of eventually going to start running kalk as my consumption increase as well. I would want to mainly do this as night for the ph boost. I like running 2 part as I can still control it thru my apex but the kalk would mainly be that extra boost and ofc ph stability. At what time would it be time to start running kalk at night and what’s best pratice. On a doser? Currently I run thru about .7-.8 dkh a day but starting to add more and more sps so I’m assuming that demand will start increasing. Running about 45-50 ml of alk a day. Ideally that would drop and run some kalk at night especially for ph boost. Any thoughts on it? At how much dkh drop would be a good idea to start thanks

If you use a large fraction of your demand via kalk, you may notice a pH effect. But less than 0.5 dKH has a minimal effect on pH.

Okay I’ll wait until my demand is more to start adding kalk
