Hello reefers. I’ve recently acquired Phosphate E. It’s going on approximately a month now and I’ve been utilizing every day.

My refugium used to take care of phosphates. It seems now it isn’t taking a dent in the phosphates. Phosphate E is doing the job however dosing and testing daily is not realistic.

I never thought about running rowaphos or GFO because I’ve never needed it. Anyone had long term use with Phosphate E? I’m running through Hanna reagents testing daily with this product. I am seriously considering trying rowaphos or buying another GFO reactor.

let me know your thoughts

Not Phosphate E, but I do run GFO on a regular basis. In a pinch I've used Two Little Fishies Phosban liquid to rapidly remove phosphates (you don't need very much). I've used Rowaphos but prefer Nyos Phosi-Ex because the granules are larger and you don't get a brown carpet of GFO in your sump (etc.)
