I'm about to hook up a 36 watt UV and I want to make sure that I plug it in to the correct EB 8 socket anyone know which one's better to use I have 7 & 4 open?

Thank you :D

Well 4 & 8 are rated up to 15 amps and the rest are iirc 5 amps. So watts do not mean much, you gotta figure out the amperage of the UV device.

Outlet 4 is 10 amp and mechanical relay, outlet 7 is 5 amp and not mechanical relay. I think it is fine with either, small pumps like Tom's aqualifter are better in outlet 4.

This is what it says

At the risk of doing math in public...P=vi or i=P/v so, 36w/120V=0.3 amps, which is pretty low power.

Do you plan to turn the UV on and off? If so, why?
