Hello fellow Reefers! I'm looking into plumbing my 57W AquaUV into my system. Is the area thats circled in yellow the correct installation for the output of the sterilizer? Thanks a lot!

I can't really tell.

I plumbed mine inline with the return. That's not optimal, but it is what made sense for me.

If that's what you're depicting its fine.
 
This plumbing arrangement actually puts your UV inlet and outlet under relatively equal pressure from the single pump, thus water won’t move through it…

— You’d be better off either adding a valve on the return line just prior to where the UV outlet plumbing enters it (reducing outlet pressure vs. inlet), or just having your UV outlet be the only plumbing that goes back to one DT return (basically in-line plumbing, with additional manifold outlets)

What everyone else said, but also it depends on why you are installing it.

If it's for parasites (or any larger critters like that, eg dino's) then you'll want all of your return flow going through the UV. If you use a manifold, it should be AFTER the UV.

Do you know what you're targeting/what flow rate you are targeting? What size tank is it?

From AquUV's sizing guide, it looks like you want right around 1000 GPH **actual flow** through it for parasites. Higher rates are fine for algae, etc.

So, the plan was, installing a manifold on one side of the return line (the return pump is a Jebao DCP-15000, running at 45%), adding a valve before the UV. So, running from the manifold valve to the input of the UV and then the output going into the other side of the return (it splits off at the wye) so it goes back into the display. Im wanting to use it for ich mitigation. Its 259 gallon total volume, roughly 200g display. So basically I have 2 returns, a left and a right thats installed with a wye fitting to utilize a single pump. The uv would be running from the valve on the manifold (the right side return) and itll go back into the left side with a tee fitting that goes back into the display. Sorry if I made it more confusing lol

As I understand it, you plan to put a valve on the UV input off the return manifold, then have the UV discharge back into the return line…

Again, the return line is all at equal pressure; none of the water will pass through the UV… water will always take the path of least resistance!
